Meanwhile, today 19th September 2024 marks 2 decades since Fig Amazing Grace Centre Assembly was planted . On a day like this in 2004, the then Pastor Gilbert Mutizira launched a new Assembly in the southwestern surburb of Budiriro in Harare, Zimbabwe.
The path travelled by the new Church Assembly was one littered with countless detours and tempting fine parking spaces but Pastor Gilbert and Lucy Mutizira remained resolute on the path. Not giving in or hasitating in the face of adversity or compromise at the enemy’s table. Later on, a District was born out of growth in the area and the duo became its District Pastors.
The stability and growth brought by Overseer Gilbert and Pastor Lucy Mutizira in Harare’s Budiriro Township and it’s environs made it easier and possible for a Province to be formed and released. To date, Harare Adonai Province is counted amongst Fig’s fast growing Provinces as a result of a powerful workforce in the Province. Most of the success being realised can simply be traced back to the work that began in a small kitchen space 2004 in Budiriro with an empty handed Pastor who had a big goal.
